How Persistence and Learning Led to Blogging Success

My name is Sukhen Tanchangya. I’m a blogger and freelancer with a deep passion for computers and the online world. Let me share my journey from being an IT student to a successful blogger, earning substantial income through persistence and learning.

Early Fascination with Technology

I completed my IT degree around 2004. Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated by computers. During school, I operated computers and took a graphics course from Chittagong. After finishing my IT studies, I worked various jobs for 4-5 years in the IT sector, gaining valuable experience.

Beginning in Freelancing and SEO

In 2008, I started small data entry tasks on oDesk and learned SEO and Internet Marketing. Gradually, I took on bigger online projects, learning from different clients. This laid the foundation for my future success in blogging.

Additionally, I work on many freelancing marketplaces such as Fiverr and SEOclerks. From Fiverr, I’ve earned approximately $60,000 from two accounts (mine and my older brother’s, who couldn’t work due to his job as a school teacher). On SEOclerks, I earned a bit more, around $80,000 from just one account.

But, my account was suspended by the SEOclerks team because of an issue with a Pakistani client. The client paid me $600 for a job, which he had deposited into SEOclerks using a bank loan. However, the client didn’t repay the loan, so the bank automatically deducted the amount from SEOclerks funds. The SEOclerks team then targeted me, stating I had to repay the $600 or my account would be suspended. Since then, I haven’t worked on SEOclerks.

The Struggles and Lessons of Early Blogging

Initially, my blogging efforts were unsuccessful due to various misunderstandings. However, I didn’t give up. I kept learning and working, gradually improving my skills. Persistence paid off when I achieved success with a outdoor sports niche blog focused on Amazon affiliate marketing, earning around $70,000.

Using AI and Google’s Unpredictable Algorithm

With the launch of ChatGPT, I created several blogs using different strategies but didn’t succeed. Google had mentioned that AI content could rank well if it provided up-to-date information and high-quality content.

Additionally, it’s well-known that “Content is king,” a principle Google emphasizes. However, in practice, it’s different. If you create a blog with good-quality AI content, you might rank well initially, but Google will eventually downgrade your ranking once it detects AI-generated content, without considering the content’s quality.

Google’s approach suggests that AI content is of lower quality and not useful to humans. However, the world is advancing with AI’s help, making daily tasks easier and improving people’s lives. Advanced countries now rely heavily on AI for various applications, with China being a prime example of rapid progress. We may see even more in the next 20 years. If AI is not useful, then why did Google lose traffic after the ChatGPT launch? Check the given below screenshot of Google traffic status:

I’ve seen many blogs ranking with low-quality content, relying solely on backlinks. My question is: if I can’t afford extensive resources, will my high-quality content never rank? Many bloggers don’t understand that Google is a robot with unpredictable algorithms. Moreover, Google doesn’t rank content from bloggers like us who work with Amazon affiliates and don’t use Google’s services like Google Ads.

However, if you’re a service provider or a company, you can pay for Google’s advertising services to ensure your site always ranks high. This is called a paid campaign. And Google will rank your contents even they are built by low quality contents. That means you are offering “bribe” to Google. For nowadays, smarter digital marketer, they called “ranking signal”.

A practical solution is that if you can invest money, your website will rank. Regardless of your skills, they won’t help on Google search engine ranking without investment. However, you can still value your skills on Bing search engine and social media.

Solution

Yes, I learned by doing. I know how to outsmart Google and achieve ranking.

But sharing that secret would mean risking getting penalized by Google. You might not know, but Google steals data. If I share how to bypass Google here today, they might penalize me tomorrow. I don’t solely rely on Google Search; to put it simply, Google isn’t a reliable search engine. Depending on Google’s algorithms for blogging can drive you crazy within three months and shorten your lifespan if you persist for a year.

May be you know about “Online Casino“, Google search engine is like an online casino. If you are a lucky person, you will win your blogging game.

There are many search engines worldwide that can bring unlimited traffic to your blog. So why waste time trying to rank on Google?
